This kaleidoscope quilt will bring fall right into your home. A one-time entrant at the Vermont Quilt Festival, it's quite striking. And at 42" x 50", it will look gorgeous on your wall, whether you hang it year-round, or just during Fall.
I chose a fabric that looked like fall (Photo 5), and chopped it up into triangles. Photo 2 is a closeup of the machine quilting in the border of the quilt. Photo 3 shows the closeup of one of the hexagons created from the triangles. The center of this wall hanging is completely made of hexies from the original fabric. Photo 4 is the quilt back. I actually included a few of the extra hexies I couldn't use on the front. There is a sleeve attached on the back for easy hanging. It's machine pieced and custom machine quilted.
If necessary, it can be machine washed in cold water, and tumbled dry on low or medium heat.
