Baby Quilt - Pink Log Cabin

A log cabin block is one of the most traditional quilt blocks. and it looks completely different depending on the fabrics you use. This one is filled with bright pink hand-dyed batiks and white quilting cottons. It's a perfect shower gift for the new baby girl in your life, or for someone looking for a small lap quilt, in a nursing home, for instance. The quilt was machine pieced, and custom machine quilted (see closeup photos). Photo shows a closeup of the quilt back. I like to piece parts of my backing with pieces I also used in the front. This baby quilt measures 42.5" x 53". 

Machine wash on cold, and dry on medium. 

All of my functional quilts arrive with a Shout Color Catcher, for the first washing. Although I prewash all my fabric, sometimes a water change will cause some dye bleed. The Color Catcher will help prevent this.
